Wallace Sedberry

Wallace Sedberry was born July 2, 1954 in Clifton, Tx to the late Jewel and Wilma Sedberry. He departed this world on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Goodall-Witcher Hospital at the age of 66.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 28, 2020 at Oswald Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1:00-4:00 P.M.Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Clifton Funeral Home.

Wallace attended Clifton Dunbar Elementary and Clifton High School. After high school, he went to work for Sormerude’s and then Brookshires in 1995. He became active in the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department in 2004. He was also involved with the Tin Building Theatre, where he appeared on stage for numerous shows.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Wilma Sedberry; brothers, Jerry Wayne Sedberry, Sr., and Lenard; sister, Mary Joe.

He leaves to cherish his memories, children, Jayson and wife, Magda, Brandon and wife, Jana, Shane and wife, Kylie; four sisters, Sandra Crawford and husband, Russell, Martha Anderson and husband Jasper (Jap), Marilyn and husband, T.J., and Vanessa; two brothers, Shirley Sedberry and Rufus Sedberry; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

The family wishes to thank Goodall-Witcher Hospital and Nursing Facility and the community of Clifton for the continuous prayers and support.

Memorials may be made to Goodall-Witcher Hospital and Nursing Facility, Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Clifton Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Bosque Arts Center.
