With the growing concern for the spreading of the COVID-19, we at Clifton Funeral Home are practicing social distancing.
We are implementing the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) recommendation of only allowing 10 people at a gathering at any time. This includes funeral services, gravesides, and any and all visitations. The CDC recommends that all in-person public gatherings of more than 10 people be postponed or canceled for the next 8 weeks. While we acknowledge the importance for public gatherings to honor the lives of loved ones, the CDC believes control of such public gatherings is one of the most significant resources that may slow the spread and impact of this pandemic.
Clifton Funeral Home wishes to continue to serve families within these guidelines. We urge families to consider private family services. We are committed to investigate alternatives such as video streaming, extend visitations throughout the day to spread out crowds, and maintain social distances to prevent the spread of the virus.
We ask at this time that there be no physical contact such as hugging, hand shaking, or fist bumping.
We are taking these measures to ensure the health and well being of our guests and employees.
