Donald Stenmark

Donald Gustaf Stenmark was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 20, 1942 to Gustaf H. and Elsie (Toplak) Stenmark. He grew up and attended school in Milwaukee and graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering. For 8 years, he worked in research and engineering for Exxon in Baytown, TX, where he had his name on 5 patents. For 41 years, he owned and operated the Cliffview Resort with his wife Dawn on the beautiful Lake Whitney. Don loved playing Bridge, you could say he was a Bridge enthusiast. He also enjoyed building and launching model rockets with his children. He loved animals, always having a small farm of them and he loved to show people how to butter corn on the cob!! Don was preceded in death by his parents. 

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Stenmark of Clifton; son, Mark Allan Stenmark of Houston, TX; daughter, Emily Elsie Stenmark of Brooklyn, NY; son Ben Casey Stenmark and wife, Erica and their two Children, Audrey and Emma of Clifton, TX; son, Evan Bill Stenmark and wife, Cheryl and their daughter, Claire of San Angelo, TX; brother, Allan Stenmark and wife, Linda of Franklin, WI and their children, Niles Stenmark of Franklin, WI and Heather Houdek Stenmark of Des Plaines, IL.
