William "Greg"' Collins, 65, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015.
Graveside services will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Kimbell Bend Cemetery in Kopperl, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Clifton Funeral Home.
Greg was born in Cleburne, Texas on Christmas Day, 1949 to parents, O.V. and Dorris (Stafford) Collins. Greg graduated from Cleburne High School in 1968.
He worked at Johnson County Electric Co-op in 1973. He and his brother, Bobby Dan Collins, owned and operated Sanco Drywall in Cleburne and Burleson.
He is survived by his two daughters: Cristin Collins of Meridian and Corrin Collins Walker of Whitney. One son, William Chance Collins and wife, Shirley of Whitney, TX.
He was "Bonkey" to grandchildren, Kalie Johnson and husband, Cleveland; Chris Collins and wife, Bernice; Cain Young; Jacob and Jordan Walker; Irelyn Graf; Mason and Blake Collins. Also great-grandchildren, Cerena ,Izaiah, Marquis and Emilio, Johnson and Daniel Noyola,.
Also survived by Janis (Tyer) Collins, mother of their children.
Sister, Judy Barnett and husband, Dale of Cleburne; Sister-in law, Kathy (Beard) Collins; and step-sister, Bitsie Fowler of San Angleo.
Along with many nieces and nephews.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, O. V. and Dorris Collins; and brother, Bobby Dan Collins.
He was loved and will be greatly missed.
