On December 21, 2023 Tommy Joe Nelson passed away peacefully in Clifton Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 29, 2023, at Whitney Memorial Park.
He leaves behind son Christopher Scott Nelson and wife Pam, 2 siblings Kerry Nelson Hicks and Nancy Carroll Cooke, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Ward Nelson, mother Bettye Faye Drinkard, father Wilbur Nelson Jr., 2 sisters Barbara Nelson Jones and Jeri Jean Carroll.
Tommy Joe was a great man and will be missed by many.
