Russell Persinger

Russell Eugene Persinger, 63, of Stephenville, Texas, passed away in Waco, Texas on June 10, 2024. Born on November 1, 1960, in Stephenville, Russell was the son of William Russell Persinger and Sandra Yvonne Boothe Persinger.

Russell traveled to Spain and Italy, as his father was in the Air Force. He later served his country in the Army for 4 years before pursuing a career as a semi-truck driver. Russell’s dedication to his work was evident until his health no longer allowed him to continue.

He is survived by his daughter, Helaina Persinger Stonerock, her husband Matt, and grandsons Patrick and Nathaniel Stonerock. Russell is also survived by his sister, Valerie Medcalf, her husband Russ, and daughter Kristina, along with many cousins.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and his wife Peggy.
