Cranfills Gap

Preshie Estell Wiese, 78, of Cranfills Gap was called home to her Lord and Savior on July 7, 2026.

Born on March 10, 1948 in East Texas, she was a beloved daughter of Dollie and Russell Phillips. She attended Clifton High School and married Harold Sidney Wiese on December 17, 1965; they celebrated just over 60 years together. She worked as a seamstress at RB Gibbs and Walls before going to cosmetology school and opening her own beauty shop in Cranfills Gap.

Beyond her work, Preshie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found joy in baking, reading, gardening, and gathering with those she loved and cared for. She was a dedicated member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and volunteered at Clifton Sunset Home for many years, providing residents with a fresh set of manicured nails and uplifting company. She will be remembered for her faith, humor, generosity, and smile.

Preshie was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Harold Joseph; four sisters, Addie Lou, Francis, Burl, and Maurice; great-granddaughter Hadley Nicole Munn; and daughter-in-law, Dorinda Greathouse Wiese.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Wiese of Cranfills Gap; her son, Russell Wiese and wife Jill of Stephenville; three grandchildren—Dorinda Nicole Hickman and husband Lamar of Hattisburg, MS, Brandon Munn and wife Ashley of Blum, and Kelli Rhea Vinson and husband Tanner of Denton; five great-grandchildren—Hope Moore, Trent Mcbrayer, Grace Munn, Reed Hickman, and Ava Vinson; and many other loving family and friends.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m., July 14, 2026 with her celebration of life at 11 a.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. Graveside services are to follow at The Rock Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to St. Olaf Lutheran Church and/or American Heart Association, or that those wishing to honor Preshie’s memory perform an act of kindness in her honor.

Though deeply missed, Preshie’s love and legacy will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
