Paul Mitchell Reesing, 72, of Clifton, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 8, 1953, in Clifton, Texas, Paul lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a steadfast devotion to others.
Paul graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He spent more than 30 years working at Clifton Moulding and later continued his career at GO Industries. Throughout his working life, he was known simply as someone who showed up, did his best, and treated everyone around him with respect.
Paul was happiest when helping others—whether through small, thoughtful gestures or simply offering a listening ear. He cherished his community at Rainbow Village and the friendships he made at Johnny’s Place. He loved playing Spades and 42, and he especially enjoyed the laughter, stories, and camaraderie these games brought into his life.
Paul was also deeply devoted to his parents throughout his entire life. He cared for them with unwavering loyalty, love, and patience—an example of quiet dedication that his family will always remember and admire.
His quiet acts of kindness touched countless lives and left impressions that will be remembered for years to come. Paul made the world a gentler, better place simply by being in it.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lonnie Reesing, and his aunt, Mildred McFadden.
Paul is survived by his brothers, Robert Reesing and wife Pat, and David Reesing and wife Dawn. He is also lovingly remembered by his 12 nieces and nephews: Lori Tarbet and husband Jason, Rhonda Fitch and husband Mike, Jennifer Reesing, Justin Reesing, Eric Reesing and wife Shelby, Matt Steger and wife Kerrie, and Chris Steger and wife Cristin. Paul is also survived by eight great-nieces and nephews, all of whom brought him great joy.
Funeral services will be held at Clifton Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Clifton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clayton Moore, Jerry Tom Reesing, Eric Reesing, Justin Reesing, Andy Spake, and Adam Spake.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, at PO Box 529, Clifton, TX 76634
