Patsy Ann Grinie, 72, passed away on October 7, 2025. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 20, 2025 at Clifton Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the graveside starting at 1:00 P.M.
Patsy Ann Grinie, 72, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, was born on September 30, 1953, in Gatesville, Texas, to Leo and Mildred Newman.
Patsy grew up and attended High School in Oglesby, Texas. She lived most of her life in the Central Texas area, where she worked for Mobil Chemical in Temple, Texas, until her retirement. After retirement, she married Robert Renee Jones and moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa.
As a Christian, Patsy had a deep love for Jesus and a servant's heart. She loved helping and caring for people in need, often putting their needs before her own. She spoke to everyone she met and loved to sing hymns. She loved to go camping by the lake and visit new places. She also had a deep love for her two dogs, Tootsie Pop and Sweetheart.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Renee Jones of Fort Dodge, Iowa; her daughter Lisa Crisman and husband Damon Crisman; her daughter Alice Johnson and husband Jeff Johnson; and her son Toby Grinie. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Mason Crisman and wife Angel Crisman, Kase Crisman, Madison Crisman, Kinslee Crisman, Jaxon Crisman, Brazos Crisman, Brittany Olivencia, Alexandra Adair, Alexis Grinie, Toby Kane Grinie, and Aleahya Grinie; and her great-grandchildren: Luka Crisman and Eliza Crisman.
Patsy is also survived by her four younger siblings: Edward Newman and wife Cathy Newman, Juanita Robinson and husband Robert Robinson, Curtis Newman and wife Lily Newman, and Debbie Ellis and husband David Ellis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Mildred Newman; her niece Hope Robinson; her nephew James Ellis, and great-nephew Cody Robinson.
Family meant everything to Patsy, and she cherished the moments spent with her children, grandchildren, and brothers and sisters. Her love for them was apparent in everything she did. Patsy was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
