Lois Faye Ridings Campbell, a cherished member of her community and a devoted family matriarch, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, in Clifton, Texas. Born on October 7, 1941, Lois lived a life rich in love, faith, and musical talent.
Lois was passionate about singing and playing the piano, sharing her gifts with family and friends alike. She had a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around her through her music, while also nurturing a deep spiritual life as a prayer warrior. Lois loved God with all her heart, a testament to her steadfast faith that guided her through all of life's challenges.
Throughout her life, Lois held many occupations, but her most fulfilling roles were those of devoted Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She is survived by her son, JT Ridings and his wife Patty; her daughter, Rhonda Sadler; her son, Danny Ridings and his wife LeAnn; and her daughter, Deborah Rodriguez and her husband, Apolinar. Her brother, Curtis Jones, and wife, Joyce; sisters, Roberta Norwood and husband, Tommy, and Rose Fitzhugh and husband, Jim. Lois was a beloved grandmother to nine grandchildren and had the joy of witnessing the lives of over a dozen great-grandchildren flourish. Additionally, she embraced her role as a stepmother with love and care, surrounded by her stepchildren, and a wide network of loving family and friends.
Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Geneva Jones; her first husband, J.T. "Bobby" Ridings Sr.; her second husband, Bill "Sonny" Campbell; her son-in-law, Noel Sadler; and her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Tommy Starke.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Clifton Memorial Park in Clifton, Texas.
Lois Faye Ridings Campbell will be remembered for her love of family, her unwavering faith, and her beautiful music. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
