Jean Lloyd Pierson

Jean Lloyd Pierson was born October 4, 1926 in Clifton, Texas. He passed away peacefully on March 10, 2015 at Lutheran Sunset Ministries in Clifton, at the age of 88. He graduated from Clifton High School and attended Clifton College before joining the United States Navy.
On October 5, 1946 he married the love of his life, Doris Louise Freedman of Valley Mills, TX. In the following years they welcomed Sandra, Carroll, and Joan.
He worked for the US Post Office as a rural mail carrier from which he retired. If you couldn't find him at home you would find him at the Bosque Valley Golf Club with his many playing partners.
He was preceded in death by his parents JB Lloyd and Lillian Pierson and his devoted wife, Doris.
Survivors include Sandra Robison and husband Gary of McKinney, Carroll Pierson and wife Lisa of San Benito, and Joan Gingras and husband Phil of Georgetown and brother Joe Pierson of Clifton.
Grandchildren included are David Nisbet, Eric, Jovanna and Jordyne Pierson, Dana McBryde, Merideth Hardwick and fiancé Joey Jaska, Chris and Tracy Hardwick, Brent and Kelly Robison, Kevin Robison and Britney. Chris and Lori Gingras, Mike and Kathleen Gingras, Sean and Ryan Gingras. Great grandchildren Emily and Ashton Nisbet, Kaitlin, Mia, and Bella Pierson and Hanna Cate, Austin Weber, Zoey Robison and Conner Robison, Xavier, Andrew, and Robert Gingras.
