Ida Mae Sellers passed away on March 24, 2024, in Waco, Texas, at the age of 96. She was born on August 22, 1927, in Clifton, Texas.
Ida was a devoted and dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. She found joy in gardening and mowing her lawn. Ida was passionate about quilting and making homemade pickles. She enjoyed walking at the Lake Air Mall until it closed, then she and her friends continued walking around the Richland Mall, for daily activities and fun.
Ida is survived by her loving daughter, Peggy Kramer, daughter in law, Devorah Sellers, grandchildren, Jason Kramer, Justin Kramer (Larisa), kids: Ian and Claire, Kimberly Winner (Josh) kids: Grayson and Jaxon, Jeff Sellers (Terri) kids: Amanda, Austin, Casey and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Oaklynn and Emberly, ( Austin’s kids), Brian Sellers (Jennifer) kids: Bradley and Dillion, Rachel Kortum Sellers ( Todd) kids: Ashlyn and Isabella, Aaron Sellers (Sarah) kids: Anderson and Hunter, Chad Sellers (Abby) kids: Brady and Levi.
Ida was preceded in death by her father, William Frederick Boelter, mother, Ida Olga Shamrock, husband, Albert, son, Larry Sellers, four brothers, and one sister.
She worked as a cashier for Piggly Wiggly on 19th Street in Waco from 1966 to 1984.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Clifton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Clifton Cemetery.
Ida Mae will be deeply missed by all who loved her, but her memory will forever live on in the many hearts she touched.
