Earl Sawyer

Earl Sawyer, 73, of Clifton passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at his residence. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Earl was born August 3, 1945, in Carlsbad, NM to Conrad and Ethel (Flowers) Sawyer. He lived most of his life in Corsicana where he was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam and retired after 21 years of service. On December 8, 2007, he married Loretta Sue Henager. He loved to collect many things and was always tinkering with everything.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Sawyer; Children, Earl Sawyer, Raymond Sawyer, Christina Alvarez and husband, Johnny, Kimberly Bryant and husband, Billy, Charlie King, and Johnny Sartor; sister, Suddie Shipley; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
