Douglas Odell Finstad

Douglas Odell Finstad December 31, 2023. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Clifton Cemetery.

Douglas was born in Clifton, Tx. to Houston and Ruth Carlson Finstad. He graduated from Clifton High School and began his career as a Truck Driver for 44 yrs. retiring in 2001. Douglas loved working on lawnmowers. He spent hours building 18 Wheeler Truck Models. He was a prolific storyteller and enjoyed playing games with loved ones.

Douglas is survived by his wife of 44 yrs Sharon; son: Brent (Marcie) Snider of Woodway, Texas; extended family: Sheri (Bryan) Kelly of Gladewater, Texas brothers: J.M.Finstad of Crawford, Texas Gene (Cathy) Finstad of Clifton, Texas.

Preceded in death by, parents: Houston and Ruth Finstad; son: Barry Finstad; brother: Houston Jr.; sister: Jenni Lou Skidmore.
