Doland Olson

Doland Layne Olson of Cranfills Gap, Texas passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the William R Courtney, State Veterans Home in Temple, TX. Visitation on March 28, 6-7 pm at Clifton Funeral Home, the service will be held at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church, Cranfills Gap, Texas on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10 am with committal service following at the Rock Church Cemetery, Cranfills Gap.

Doland is survived by one sister Francis Earle of Metairie, LA and his twin brother, Roland Olson of Whitney, TX, sister in law Linda Olson of Little River-Academy, TX, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He served in the United States Army in Korea in 1959. Doland was a graduate of East Texas State University with work at Texas A&M. He was employed by the Texas Department of Agriculture where he served as a supervisor.

He was preceded in death by his parents Casper and Clarice Olson of Cranfills Gap, TX, sister Dorothy Reiber of San Antonio, TX, brothers Marvin Olson of Granbury, TX, Darryl Olson of Little River-Academy, TX, brother in law Earl B Earle of Metairie, LA and brother in law Charles Reiber of San Antonio, TX.
