Nancy Jo Schrader

Nancy Jo Durheim-Schrader (8/29/39) has gone home for Christmas this year to spend it with the Lord as she passed early on Dec 2nd, 2020.  She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Rex Schrader (Morgan,  Texas) , her daughter & son-in-law Kim and Mark Burckhard (Mansfield Tx), her son Roger Schrader (Rapid City,SD) and grand daughter Mikayla Burckhard (Mansfield, Tx). Her brother Bob Durheim and wife Una reside in Kansas along with their children Debbie Harris and Steve Durheim.

Nancy was always nurturing, encouraging and always wanting to help others. Our hearts are broken for the loss of her and we will dearly miss her smile. She endured so many illnesses and surgeries throughout her life. She was such a fighter and never gave up. She was a strong woman and never complained.

She had a long blessed life where she was a bank officer for years, volunteer for organizations such as the Boy Scouts, camp fire girls and Girl Scouts but mostly our wife, mother and grandma.  She made friends wherever she lived easily which included Great Bend ,Liberal and Hutchison Kansas, Brainerd MN, Minot ND, Huron and Aberdeen SD and finally on Lake Whitney, Texas.

Services will be announced at a later date in Kansas as we lay her to rest on her family’s plot.
