Marilyn Fowler Obituary

Marilyn Sedberry Fowler passed on to her heavenly home on April 1, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Clifton Cumberland Presbyterian Church of America with the Reverend Roosevelt  Fields officiating. Marilyn was born on March 23, 1953, to parents Jewel and Wilma Sedberry. They made their home here in Clifton, Texas where Marilyn grew up and attended Clifton School. Marilyn was blessed with four beautiful children, Leonard Ray Bible Jr., James Sedberry, Jacqueline Bible, and Jasmine Sedberry. Her church affiliation was Presbyterian and in 2006 she was joined in marriage to the Reverend Thomas Fowler. Being a homemaker, she enjoyed sewing and spending her time with her children and her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, watching Westerns, writing and just enjoying life. Marilyn never met a stranger and she enjoyed making people laugh. She brought joy to those around her with her sweet smile. A lesson she taught to all those around her was to just enjoy life! Marilyn was that example to each of us because she knew how to live and love and enjoy this world the Lord had given to her.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her precious son Leonard Ray Bible Jr. Her mother Wilma “Doll” Sedberry and father Jewel “Buckeye” Sedberry. Sister, Mary Jo and brothers Wallace and Jerry Sedberry Jr.

Marilyn is survived by her son James Sedberry and daughters Jacquline Bible and Jasmine Sedberry. Her dear husband Thomas Flower. Grandchildren; Kayla Leann Bible, Kendra Villalpando, Tori Sedberry, Jaynee Edwards, Jaron Sedberry, and Darius Guerrero. Great Grandchildren; Khiry Bible, Brayden Guerrero, Jaxon Villalpando, Mia Villalpando, Mateo Villalpando and Kia Graham. Brothers; Shirly Sedberry and Rufus Sedberry. Sisters; Martha Jane Anderson, Vanessa Sedberry, and Sandra Crawford. A whole host of loving family and friends.
