Kenneth Gene Nelson passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, at the age of 84. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Church of Christ, Clifton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at Clifton Memorial Park.

Kenneth Gene was born on October 27, 1937, in Waco, TX to Archie and Emma Mae Nelson. He was raised in Clifton and attended Clifton schools. He also attended Trinity Lutheran Church in his early years.

Kenneth Gene was a very caring, loving, and generous soul. He loved helping others in his community. He was also a servant of the Lord by visiting those who were sick and helping those who were in need. He was often seen around our little town, always greeting people with a smile and hello. He was very proud to claim his 100% Norwegian heritage.

Many knew Kenneth Gene from his occupation as an insurance agent. He was an integral part of Aars and Nelson Insurance Agency in Clifton. He was a cornerstone in the insurance business for many, many years.

Kenneth Gene married the love of his life, Clarice Pipes Bosher on January 21, 1989, in Salado, TX. He spent the last 33 years of his life with Clarice attending Church of Christ in Clifton. Together, they continued to minister and help others.

Clarice brought 3 children to the marriage, Ronnie, Teresa, and Lisa. Kenneth Gene loved them as his own. He will be truly missed by them all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Emma Mae Nelson.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Clarice Nelson; children, Ronnie Bosher and wife, Lee Ann, Teresa Bosher, Lisa Outlaw and husband, Claude; 6 grandchildren, Kenny Bosher, Lawren Fisher and husband, Kevin, Casey Brooks and husband, Robert, Betsy Outlaw, Rebecca Outlaw and James Brown, and Andrew Outlaw; 4 great-grandchildren, Stella Swanson, Ethan Fisher, Evan Fisher, and Maddison Brown; God daughter, Laurie Love Ross and husband, Dan; cousins, Ernest Love and many more.
