Julia E. Owens

Julia E. Owens, 99, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 9, 2019 at Clifton Memorial Park with Pastor Brian Barrett officiating. 

Julia was born March 29, 1920 in Round Rock to Oscar and Harriet Garner. She resided in Waller, TX with her sister Merle Chavez, nephew Ronnie Chavez and his wife Wenoka.

Julia never had children of her own but considered her granddaughter Dixie Anderson, great-granddaughter Melissa, and all of her many nieces and nephews as her own children. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Earl Owens who passed in 1984. She had eight siblings who have all gone home except her sister Merle. 

For the last twelve years, she has resided on Ronnie and Wenoka’s farm in Waller, living a peaceful country life. She enjoyed the beauty of the country, hair day on Thursday and church on Sunday. 

Julia was a lifelong Christian who gave thanks for her many blessings and loved the Lord. 

Her family and friends will surely miss but look forward to seeing her again.
