Jeff Nichols

Jeffrey Nichols, 66, Texas, passed away on November 10, 2023, in Temple, Texas. He was born in Clifton on December 5, 1956, to H.T. and Barbara Nichols.

Jeff was a happy-go-lucky individual, known for his joking nature and loving personality. He was easy going and brought joy to those around him. In his free time, he enjoyed race cars and dove hunting. Jeff was a Master Mason and an esteemed member of Clifton Lodge #360.

He graduated from Clifton High School and had several jobs including machinist and welder, but most notably with Nichols Lp Gas.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Daisha Nelson, and grandsons, Cade Nelson and Zion Simmons. He is also survived by his brother Tom and wife Anita, sister Patricia Bryant, and nephews Jason, Justin and wife Rebekah, Josh, and Brandon. He was preceded in death by his parents, H.T. and Barbara Nichols, and Daisha's mom, Helen.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Clifton Funeral Home. Rev. Mary Gean Cope will officiate the ceremony. Visitation will be held 30 min. prior to the service (1:30)  at the funeral home.

Jeff Nichols will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
