Harlon Don Whitley

Harlon Don Whitley, 85, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Searsville Church, Valley Mills with Rev. Ray Seeinger and Lynn Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Turnersville Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church (1:00-2:00 P.M.)

Don was born to John Olan and Bessie Whitley on November 4, 1935. He served 23 years in the military and discharged with full honors. Don is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Ann; Patricia Ann Whitley and special friend, Pamela Ann Cox of Waco, Texas; Raymond Dean Whitley and his wife, Judy of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his two daughters, Donna Jo Busch and Judy Lou Whitley.

Words cannot express our gratitude for the tenderness and love shown to all of us in these last days.

Other survivors include: grandchildren, John Vincent Consentino III, Christina Lynn Dominguez and husband, Joey, Jason, Rodney and Douglas Whitley; great-grandsons, Steven Brody and Roman Dominguez ; sister, Barbara Vinson and husband, Don. 

Pallbearers will be John Consentino III, Andrea Benetez, Heath Talbert, Mike Burnett, Drew Bearden, and Darin Bearden.
