Chrystal Lynn Johnson

Chrystal Lynn Johnson (CJ) was granted her angel wings on June 26, 2022.  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Clifton.

CJ lived life to its fullest.  She had an infectious smile and a contagious laugh that allowed her to touch the lives of both the elderly and the young.  

CJ was born on May 26, 1983, to Roy Johnson and Lori Powers.  CJ attended school at Cranfills Gap Elementary and graduated from Clifton High School in 2001.  Throughout her high school years, CJ excelled in cheerleading and softball.  CJ went on to earn a Business Degree from Tarleton State University.  She was currently a teacher working for the University of Texas in Austin.  She loved her students wholeheartedly.  CJ was a giving, caring and selfless soul who loved mentoring others and would do anything for anyone.  CJ loved her missionary work and worked tirelessly to help others.

CJ is survived by her mother, Lori Powers; father, Roy Johnson and wife, Kim; her brother, Cody Johnson and wife, Whitney; sister, Ashton Hinton and husband, Wyatt; and sister, Monica Pechacek and husband, Jeff. Her nieces, Lashelle Williams, Ally and Addy Pechacek, nephew, Gunner Hinton, and her dog, Charlie, were her pride and joy! 

She also leaves behind numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, countless friends, and many people CJ touched throughout her life.  

CJ was greeted in heaven by her sister, Melony Johnson Holder.
