Carla Stanford, 67, of Clifton, Texas passed on November 29, 2023.
Carla Sue Robins was born on November 8, 1956 in Waco, Texas to Leo and Paulita Wedeking Robins. Carla was baptized in Church of the Master on March 31, 1957, in Waco, Texas. She was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waco, Texas. She attended Parkdale Elementary, Tennyson Junior High, and Richfield High School. Carla later attended 4-C Business College. She worked in the family business at Robins Patio and Garden Center in Waco, Texas following school. She used her love of gardening and plants, antiquing, and cooking to share with those she loved and to operate several businesses over the years. Stanford Patio and Garden Center was established in the early eighties in Harmony Valley where she shared a family love of gardening. She enjoyed auctions and traveling to find the most unique of antiques. Timeless Treasures and Antiques was born with her operating antique booths all over Texas before opening up Timeless Treasures and Tea Room in 2001. Carla loved the labor of cooking fresh breads, pies, soups, and a variety of items for the beloved patrons at the tea room. Her chicken salad is still a local request. Carla and her daughter operated Ms. Behavin boutique for several years following the Timeless Treasures. Carla later shared everyone's life's treasures by offering estate sale service through Timeless Treasures Estate Sales. She donated her time and love of cooking to local organizations, churches, mission, and youth trips, and to help serve the homeless throughout her adult life.
Carla is survived by spouse, Carroll Stanford, her children Nathan Benfer, Malinda Webb and husband Tony, Rusty Benfer, Stephanie Williams and husband Spike, Suzi Bottlinger and husband Chris; and her sisters, Robin Kanz and husband Ken and Sandy Row and husband Craig. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
