Glenn Dale Hanson

Glenn Dale Hanson, 69 of Cranfills Gap, passed away Wednesday evening, September 25, 2019. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 29, 2019 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Cranfills Gap. 

Glenn Dale Hanson was born November 6, 1949 in Meridian, Texas to Al and Winnie Hanson. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. On August 7, 1968, he was united in marriage to Rita Blackman. To this union, one child was born, Darren Keith Hanson. Glenn served his country faithfully with the US Army from 1970-1976. Through the years, Glenn was a high-rise iron worker/welder, truck driver, and a life-long farmer and rancher.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Rita of Cranfills Gap; son, Darren and wife Karen of Cranfills Gap; grandson, Wade of College Station; granddaughter, Marti of Houston; and brother, Bennie Hanson of Cranfills Gap.

The family respectfully requests that memorials be made in memory of Glenn to the Old Rock Church.
